Injury Attorney
Ismael Tijerino has been a licensed attorney in Florida since 2018 and has devoted his career to fighting for injured workers. Since 2019, he has focused exclusively on workers’ compensation litigation, representing claimants across the state and ensuring they receive the benefits they deserve.
With extensive experience handling cases involving a wide range of injuries and complex legal issues, Ismael has successfully navigated claims from inception to resolution. He understands every stage of the litigation process and fights relentlessly to level the playing field for his clients.
Ismael earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida International University and his law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, now Benjamin L. Crump College of Law. Before dedicating himself to workers’ compensation law, he defended homeowners against insurance companies and represented clients in family law disputes, gaining valuable experience advocating for individuals against powerful entities.
He is an active member of the Florida Bar Workers’ Compensation Section (serving as a co-chair of the Emerging Leaders Committee), Florida Workers’ Advocates, the Richard A. Sicking American Inn of Court, the Miami Dade Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
As a first-generation college graduate and the son of immigrant parents, Ismael knows firsthand what it means to be the underdog. That perspective fuels his commitment to his clients—ensuring they never feel powerless in the legal process. His approach is simple: fight tirelessly, advocate fearlessly, and never settle for less than what his clients are entitled to under the law.
